I agree UIF. How many "substantial" offers will Amac bring back? I'm a little surprised with Strome and Lee knocking on the door, that Garth is not looking for a goalie or D for Vanek?

Not sure he isn't. If the rumors of talking to Anaheim are true, we could very well be looking at John Gibson as a piece in that deal.

Gibson and a 1st would make this all pretty worth it to me.... That kid could end up being a damn fine goalie...

It's not greed.. He has earned the right to be an UFA and earn as much as he can. And with this stupid market someone will give him 4 years 20 million

I honestly would trade Vanek straight up for Gibson. I just don't see the ducks trading a prospect that highly regarded for a rental

There's a fine line IMO. When you proclaim that you 'want to stay' but then turn down a contract like that, you're obviously either
A: Not being sincere in your desire to stay
B: Have no idea what you're actually worth
C: A player who has been overvalued and turns the puck over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over
